Yahoo Mail can block email addresses from sending you mail. You can't receive mail from email addresses that you, or someone else, added to your Yahoo account's Blocked Addresses list. Emails from these addresses don't even make it to the Trash or Spam folder. To unblock mails from specific addresses, you must remove them from the Blocked Addresses list. Mail is unblocked as soon as you remove the addresses and you can add the email addresses to the Blocked Addresses list again at any time.
Log in to your Yahoo Mail account, click the gear icon and choose "Settings" from the menu to open the Settings window.
Click "Blocked Addresses" in the left pane to view the Blocked Addresses list. The list can contain individual email addresses or entire domains.
Select the email address or domain that you want to unblock, and then click the "Remove" button. The email address or domain is removed from the list and unblocked immediately.
- You can add up to 500 email addresses to the Blocked Addresses list.
- To remove several addresses or domains at once, hold "Ctrl" and click each address or domain until you select all of them, and then click the "Remove" button.
- To add an email address to the Blocked Addresses list, type the address into the field, and then click the "Block" button.
- You can't receive or recover emails from blocked email addresses, so make sure you don't block a legitimate address.
